20 Year Anniversary for A4M…

The American Academy of Anti Aging Medicine (A4M) is celebrating its twenty year Anniversary.

Ron Klatz MD, DO and Bob Goldman Md, PhD, DO head up the 26,000 member American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), the largest, and to my mind, most effective association of cutting-edge health care practitioners on Planet Earth.  Six thousand health professionals regularly attend their Las Vegas convention, this year held at the Venetian / Palazzo Resort December 12 to 15th, 2012. They also host another event every year in Orlando, Florida, this coming year at the Gaylord Palms Resort April 11th to 13th.  Then too, they hold mini-conferences all over the world – Mexico City, Dubai, China, Indonesia, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand etc. They have trained well over a hundred thousand health practitioners worldwide. Autism – It’s the elephant in the room, that some say is so large, and so encompassing, that no one in authority even wants to hear about it much less deal with it.

On November 29th, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Rayburn Building in Washington DC the Congressional Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, chaired, now, by Darrell lssa, Republican from California, held another hearing on Autism – the first in ten years.

There was a day in Texas when sleaze artist Stephen Barrett could call up the Executive Director of the Texas Medical Board and “arrange” a prosecution of a Texas cutting-edge doctor, even offering his even sleazier “skeptic” companion bobbie baratz as the do-all, be-all, expert witness against that doctor.  Those days are over.  The Texas Medical Board is on a short leash, after an assault by the Texas legislature, at the request of components of the the US Health Freedom Movement. Autism “Danish Study” Author is “On the Run…”  Poul Thorsen –  Makes US “Top Ten Most Wanted” List

The “Danish Study” has been used as the foundation of the vaccine industry’s claim that “there is no relationship between vaccines and Autism.”

Background…Today we’re going to talk about the Andrew Wakefield versus Brian Deer, et al, case in Texas once again.  As some of you may have heard, a minor problem has popped up.   A judge Dismissed the case on jurisdictional grounds and an Appeal has been filed over that Decision. Autism World – The  Upcoming Mark Geier Appeal…  Part One –  What’s at Stake Here?

Court cases can drag on forever.  That’s just their nature.  There are several US cases going on right now that are significant to the Autism World, one of which is the Mark Geier versus the Maryland Medical Board, a case which is simply waiting out the required timing to be filed in a real court.  Since the Autism World situation is without doubt, a microcosm of what is happening in US, and world, health care, the case is also of importance to the North American Health Freedom Movement.

In the Geier case the completely corrupt Maryland Medical Board went through a lengthy, required, Administrative Procedure, dragging out the process as long a they could, and used the process rules to issue ONLY their version of what was really going on.  They wrote their documents to make the Geiers, father and son, look like criminals, fools, dolts, monsters, etc.  Of major importance here is that the Board documents, were released to the public through their relationship with the “skeptics,” the online hate group responsible for the recent rape, mutilation, and death threats against Meryl Dorey, one of the leaders of the Australian Vaccine Network (AVN). My readership, for the most part, are the kind of people who would be welcome, so to speak, in my Living Room anytime.  Why?  Because I have found that the Health Freedom Movement, worldwide, is made up of people who share certain core values with me.  Since the alliance between the Health Freedom Movement and the Autism world began it became also obvious that the leadership in the Autism Movement are similar people.   I have found that, for good reason, I like them and value them.  I have offered to help them, and bring my friends to help them.  Yes, of course we are all working together – and it gets better every day. I know.  I know.

I’d be the perfect person to go look at Stephen Barrett‘s Tax Returns with Doctor’s Data’s attorneys in the Doctor’s Data v Barrett, Federal Court case.   But, I just can’t do it.

It’s not because I’m busy, and I am.  It’s because once I had any active role in the case Barrett’s attorneys would use that to try and silence me writing further articles about the situation.  They’d simply claim that anything I wrote in the future was related to Barrett’s Tax Returns, blah, blah, blah…  And, the judge has ordered that, so far, the information the attorneys find in those Tax Returns from the year 2000 through the present, must stay within the court, and not be publicly revealed. Some days I think that Stephen Barrett, the National Council Against Health Fraud (NCAHF), Quackwatch, Inc. , and the entire legal team defending him, don’t really focus, so much, on defending themselves from the brutal legal assault by Doctor’s Data engendered by the Doctor’s Data v Barrett, Federal Court case as they do on trying to keep information away from me, Tim Bolen.  I’ll show you what I mean. As I pointed out in my last article “Part One – The Privilege Removal” Doctor’s Data had filed TWO SEPARATE Motions to Compel in the Doctor’s Data v Barrett case, asking the judge to issue a court Order forcing Barrett and the others to comply with Discovery demands.

The judge quickly, and with gusto, issued his first Order, making it very clear that he wanted Barrett and his legal team to quit screwing around and start complying with simple court procedures – or else.

Doctor’s Data v Barrett Case  – The Discovery Dam Has Been Burst… Part One:  The privilege removal.

Things are about to get VERY, VERY bad for Stephen Barrett, his co-conspirators, minions, and supporters.

The judge in the Doctor’s Data v Barrett case has come down hard, very hard, on Stephen Barrett and the other Defendants regarding their refusal to provide Discovery documents demanded by the Plaintiff Doctor’s Data’s attorneys.

The judge’s Order to Compel carries significant penalties, including the threat of arrest of Barrett, under the “Contempt of Court” rules, for failure to comply with the Order.  And they, the Defendants, have only until September 12th, 2012 (four days from now), to clean up their act. Maryland Board – Eight Minutes, Fourteen Seconds…

Every entity develops a personality, and a life, of its own.  Public agencies are no exception.  Sometimes an entity develops so negatively that there is simply no point in saving it.  There is virtually nothing worth keeping.  The Maryland Board of Physicians is one of those entities.

The problem is that every State needs to regulate certain kinds of health professionals – specifically those that, because of their offerings, can seriously damage consumers.  But sometimes, as in the case of the Maryland Board of Physicians the seeming solution becomes worse than the problems it is there to prevent. Doctor’s Data v Barrett Update – 8/8/12

It’s time for another chuckle.

Things are not going well for Stephen Barrett and his Cronies in the Doctor’s Data v Barrett, et al, federal court case.  They are in the Discovery phase and it appears that Barrett, et al, are desperately trying to avoid releasing information that could, and would, be used against them.

Doctor’s Data, in a recent filing to the judge, complained that Barrett was submitting over a thousand last minute documents full of redactions, then trying to close the discovery process before Doctor’s Data could demand un-redacted copies. Continue reading Doctor’s Data v Barrett Update – 8/8/12

Maryland Board Fails – They Could Not Stop the Geiers…  The Counter Attack Begins…

Wednesday, July 25th, 2012, the Maryland Board of Physicians played its last card in its organized assault against Mark and David Geier.  They had their last meeting to decide the Geiers’ fate, so to speak.

But no matter what their decision is about the Geiers, it is of no importance whatsoever.  For this last act, this meeting, is the finale of the situation controlled by the Maryland Board of Physicians.  To this point members, and employees, of the Board controlled the process, and the information flow, using what is known as an Administrative Procedure. In a way I have no sense of humor about the group that calls themselves the “skeptics.”  I feel that if we could congregate them all in the septic tank, and screw the lid down tightly, we’d all be much happier – them and us.  We’d each be king in our own world.
