Australian Skeptics Dragged into Court over Rape, Mutilation,  and Death Threats Against the Australian Vaccination Network Leadership…

Sometimes I have to tell a horror story.  This one sort of is.

Opinion by Consumer Advocate  Tim Bolen

My readership, for the most part, are the kind of people who would be welcome, so to speak, in my Living Room anytime.  Why?  Because I have found that the Health Freedom Movement, worldwide, is made up of people who share certain core values with me.  Since the alliance between the Health Freedom Movement and the Autism world began it became also obvious that the leadership in the Autism Movement are similar people.   I have found that, for good reason, I like them and value them.  I have offered to help them, and bring my friends to help them.  Yes, of course we are all working together – and it gets better every day.

One consistent situation becomes obvious in both Movements.  Both groups embrace a core Judeo/Christian Ethic, a sense of right and wrong, an embedded obligation to help others, right wrongs, solve social problems, and generally do the right thing.

I consistently point out that the opposites in our political arguments are NOT the same kind of people we are.  To say, kindly, that these people do NOT embrace the Judeo/Christian Ethic is an all-time understatement.  What is difficult to display in my writings, is a frame of reference, a point where we can examine what makes up the psyche of the quackbuster/skeptic persona – and then to look beyond them to discover who it is, exactly, that employs them to do what they do.  It is important to know this, and understand it, for we must know our enemy to defeat them.

And, defeat them we must.  And we do.

In my series on who the quackbuster/skeptics really are I ask the question:

“What kind of people would create this horror for Americans and others around the world? Who would do this to other humans?.  Are they sociopaths, psychopaths, sub-humans with pervasive personality disorders?

Today’s story is one of horror.  It will be VERY DISTURBING to most of my readers.  For, even as never before, with this example, it graphically identifies the core values of the quackbuster/skeptics.  It depicts who they really are.

I apologize, in advance, for what you are about to read, but someone must expose this situation.  No matter how uncomfortable the information we need to see, for ourselves, exactly what we are dealing with, so we can make decisions on how to proceed.

So, let’s proceed.

Sometimes it is just best to start out by quoting the original story.  Like just below.  I will link you to the whole article, but, first, here is the gist of it:

“On August 12, 2012, 6 (six) phone calls were received by Meryl Dorey, President of the Australian Vaccination Network. These calls were made between approximately 2:15 and 3:30 that morning. Attached are recordings of two out of six of these calls  (please listen to Die in a Fire and Just burn at these links). As you listen, please keep in mind that making calls such as these is considered to be  a criminal act under current Australian legislation.

These two phone calls contain serious and violent threats to Ms Dorey and a police report was filed the same morning that the messages were received. At the time, Ms Dorey and her husband were in Bathurst NSW as part of a speaking tour in the Central West. Her children were home alone and she was quite concerned about their welfare due to the fact that someone out there had access to her home by phone and was obviously wishing her harm.

Ms Dorey traced the phone number from which these calls originated. Her trace indicated that they had come from the home of a person who is a manager of the Stop the AVN Facebook page. The police have done a thorough investigation of this information and have – as of September 28th, 2012, officially confirmed that the calls did indeed originate from this person’s home.

Do you recognise this voice? If you have any information that may help in apprehending this criminal, please contact the AVN at info@avn.org.au.”

And More…

PRLog (Press Release)Oct 04, 2012 – Past president and current committee member of the Australian Skeptics, Peter Bowditch, is to appear in court in early November to answer an application for an Apprehended Violence Order (AVO) (Same as a US Restraining Order) lodged against him by the head of a consumer watchdog group. Two others, Daniel Rafaelle and Dan Buzzard, were issued interim AVO’s last week.

Meryl Dorey, President of the Australian Vaccination Network (AVN), made the applications after enduring what she described as three years of violent threats, intimidation, and abuse.

The three respondents are linked via a group calling itself ‘Stop the AVN’, founded by Rafaelle. Described as an offshoot of the Australian Skeptics, the group was awarded ‘Skeptic of the Year’ in 2010.

I am not one bit surprised… Rafaelle has publicly declared a deep hatred for Dorey over her work with AVN, and claims to be her ‘arch-nemesis’. He and fellow members have publicly discussed their aim to crush AVN, and Dorey herself, by any and all means.

Recently a series of threatening and abusive messages left on Dorey’s home phone were traced to Rafaelle’s home. He was questioned by police but denied making the calls. This occurred following a series of anonymous threats, violent pornographic images, and abuse received by Dorey.

Australian Skeptics issued a statement after the AVO applications were lodged, denouncing abusive and threatening behaviour amongst its members.

Skeptics are Skeptics – after all.

They are all about HATE.  More, the Skeptics teach their membership, in an organized fashion (training), exactly how to promulgate their hatred through Wikipedia, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques, and social media.  Skeptic leadership rewards conformity to this kind of behavior.  See quote just below:

“The three respondents are linked via a group calling itself ‘Stop the AVN’, founded by Rafaelle. Described as an offshoot of the Australian Skeptics, the group was awarded ‘Skeptic of the Year’ in 2010.”

It gets worse, far worse…

Above, Meryl Dorey had complained about  “three years of violent threats, intimidation, and abuse.”  She named three people in her AVO (Restraining Order) requests:  Daniel  Rafaelle, Dan Buzzard, and Peter Bowditch.  If you click on each of their names you can read the application for AVO for each (coming soon).  But, before you do that, let me warn you where you are going.

There is more than just the threat of death.

I am going to link you to four graphic images.  Go look at them if you want, but be warned, they are horrible images.  You will NOT find them on this page.  You will have to go see them, yourself, on the links.  I advise you to NOT have children around for this viewing.  Each of these images were sent to Meryl Dorey or her AVN group, obviously in an effort to dissuade her, and her group, from pointing out the dangers of vaccines.

(1)  The first photo is of a black man raping a dead white woman whose body has already been torn in half.  The message to the AVN, from the sender, is very clear, especially when taken into context with the following two messages:

(a)  the first message from Daniel Rafaelle:

(b)  The second message is:

From: fantasticfox5@tormail.org  (an anonymous emailer)

Subject: flu-reactions

Date: 25 September 2012 10:09:12 AM AEST

To: meryl@avn.org.au

meryl be warned we’re coming for you. and you will be sorry you filthy

baby killer. sharpening the knives now.

We are Anonymous.

We are Legion.

We do not forgive.

We do not forget.

Expect us

(2)  The second photo is from a Google search of the term goatsie used by Dan Buzzard in a Twitter message:

I suspect that Buzzard, clearly a Skeptic, picked this imagery due to familiarity.  This activity might well be a featured event, shared by the members, at every “skeptic” meeting.  In fact, it may well be the primary activity.

(3)  The third photo is of three older men engaging in homosexual sex. Meryl Dorey says of this:  “The same person who sent me the email message also posted the following onto the AVN’s facebook page.”

I suspect, as before, that the Skeptics are using imagery, in their hate campaign, familiar to their life style.

(4)  The fourth photo is part of an anonymous letter sent to Meryl Dorey in the Australian mail.

These photos are just samples.  There are many more.

It is time, once more, to revisit something…

In my series on who the quackbuster/skeptics really are I ask the question:

“What kind of people would create this horror for Americans and others around the world? Who would do this to other humans?.  Are they sociopaths, psychopaths, sub-humans with pervasive personality disorders?

Actions speak louder than words.  The “skeptics,” through their actions, have identified themselves

How they came to this…

Meryl Dorey puts out a periodic newsletter.  Last July 7th, 2012 she sent out one that described the constant attack on the AVN.  Therein she discussed the many efforts of AVN volunteers to not only defend the AVN but to make it thrive.

Just below is an excerpt from that newsletter that explains a lot.  Why?  For no matter what the AVN is very much alive and obviously increasing in popularity.  Requests for Meryl Dorey to speak across Australia are increasing:

“These attempts to shut down the AVN have included investigations and warnings issued by the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) which we had to fight long and hard to finally defeat. We accomplished this in the Supreme Court which determined that the HCCC acted illegally when conducting their investigation and issuing a warning against us..

They tried to close us down by using the Department of Fair Trading – several times. They tried with ASIC when we weren’t even registered with ASIC.  Through the Office of Liquor Gaming and Racing (which had to assign one of their employees a full-time job of just dealing with these complaints – at huge cost to the taxpayer!) who revoked our charity authority but was later made to reinstate it because we ARE a charity and we ARE entitled to be one.

Immediately upon that reinstatement, the same people and organisations started lobbying the Minister for Fair Trading to ask him to once again revoke our charitable status because they disagree with us on vaccination. What part of ‘democracy’ don’t these people understand?

I have seen evidence that there was even an attempt to have me deported from Australia via complaints to the Dept of Immigration but unfortunately for the people pushing for this, I am an Australian citizen.

The idea that a group of doctors can unite to SMASH an organisation that questions a medical procedure sounds more like economic protectionism than true concern to me. Who stands to gain if the AVN is forced to close? Not the parents of Australia who will have nowhere else to go for help, information and support. The doctors will gain though because without a vocal and active group supporting conscientious objectors to vaccination, compulsory vaccination will become a reality as we found back in the late 1990s when the government tried to sneak in legislation taking away financial entitlements from parents who did not vaccinate. It was only because the AVN lobbied for the introduction of a Conscientious Objector clause that today, we have the right to claim all government benefits whether we choose to vaccinate fully, selectively or not at all.

The frustration level at the local Skeptics enclave must be over the top.  So, I think, the REAL  Skeptics are beginning to show up.

What’s to be done?

Well, that’s in the works.

Stay Tuned…
