Opinion by Consumer Advocate Tim Bolen
I have written a series of articles on who and what the “skeptics” (pseudo-skeptics) actually are. The articles are not flattering, for there is nothing good about the skeptic organization. Hence, there is nothing good about individual skeptics.
Nothing at all. They are all about “hate.”
The best example of the reality of the skeptics is the one explained in my The “Skeptics” Are An Organized “Hate Group”… article about their October 2012 campaign to stop the Australian Vaccination Network and its leader Meryl Dorey. You can read the whole article by clicking on the article title (in red) above. See an excerpt, below, of my article, on what they did:
“The rape, mutilation and death threats against Meryl Dorey, President of the Australian Vaccination Network. (AVN) make a very clear statement about the reality of the international “skeptic“ organization. The activities of Australian Skeptics, with their Stop the AVN subsidiary attacks, took the lid of off their formally secret plans.
Tracing the Die in a Fire” and “Just burn” phone calls back to top Australian skeptic leader, shoe salesman Daniel Rafaelle, the Stop the AVN head’s home telephone, brought everything out into the open. Remember, the Australian Skeptics, at their own “Amazing meeting” in 2010, gave Rafaelle their Top Award for his activities against Meryl Dorey and the AVN.
Nice people, huh?
History…
The skeptic organization has been around for quite awhile. But, for most of its history it was just a bunch of ne’er-do-wells whining together over their common rejection by society.
But, for the last several years the skeptics have supplanted the original group calling itself the “quackbusters,” since the demise of the National Council Against Health Fraud (NCAHF). And, they have found significant, mostly secret, funding sources.
The important thing to know about the skeptics in 2012 is their efforts to control the search engine placement of certain kinds of articles; health care and other things that interest them, and their control of those same subjects on Wikipedia. They receive training, and are networked, for this activity at organized meetings.
The articles on the right will give you a very clear picture of how the skeptics operate. Click on the title to go to the actual article.
In short…
The so-called “skeptics” are a misinformation campaign run by angry male homosexuals masquerading as atheists whose management has a significant interest in pedophilia, its promotion and protection. They have replaced the old “quackbuster” operation.
Lower level “skeptics,” I believe, are recruited young homosexual men, who as female skeptic Dawn Z, after refusing to attend the biggest “skeptic” annual meeting “The Amazing Meeting” this year in Las Vegas, said:
“Unfortunately it seems atheism (skepticism) has drawn many trashy young men with poor and limited social skills who are plain haters any which way you talk to them. I hope its fair to assume smart polite atheist have a non virtual life and wouldn’t run rude post betraying intelligence 24/7. The typical stats on these bullies making atheism look bad is American male, 21 years of age, living in parents attic, few if any real friends and limited social interactions or connections off of the Internet, living in the South. They put woman like me off from participating or taking part.”
Skeptic work is little more than employment of young homosexual men whose anger, self-loathing, and bitterness at the Judeo/Christian world and its handling of homosexuality issues normally makes them virtually unemployable in society. So, they have available time – and a computer. They are taught to use that time to focus their self-loathing outward, Using anonymity, lashing out viciously at those targets they are organized to attack, by “Skeptic Central” on the internet.
Not truly skeptics, but pseudo-skeptics. Not truly atheists, but anti Judeo/Christian ethic. Easily manipulated by the management and funders of “Skeptic Central.”
Skeptic Central…
There are TWO main “skeptic” organizations – the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF) and the Center For Inquiry (CFI). Both are well funded from secret sources.
JREF reported, in 2010, a total income of $999,971.00 and a Total Asset claim of $1,736,101. Click here to see the available JREF Income Tax Form 990.
Under the JREF Form 990 Summary Section – Box One, asking for the organization’s mission, JREF answers “To promote critical thinking and investigate claims of the paranormal.”
Just so we all understand exactly who, and what, James Randi is, listen, perhaps once again, to the audio tape, here, of James Randi soliciting sex from a young boy, and all will be revealed to you.
The Center For Inquiry, Inc (CFI), based in Amherst, New York shows on their Form 990 that they took in$5,242,304 in Total 2009 Income, and they had, that year, Total Assets of $3,017,144. Their Schedule B ANONYMOUS contributions totaled $2,318,652.
More, CFI claimed that they received, in 2009, in addition to their anonymous contributions, a so-called “Management Fee Income” of $2,458,156. What do you suppose they managed? And who paid them to manage it? Maybe they manage Wikipedia health care articles? How about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) bringing skeptic, including Stephen Barrett‘s, articles to the first page of Google?
All of this income, they claim on their form 990 Mission line is for the purpose of “Held world congress and training session, conducted seminars, and secured grant for library expansion.” Note that they never said what the “world congress” was for, what the “training sessions” trained people to do, what the “conducted seminars” were for, nor mentioned what “the library” was for.
More – and you are going to love this part – I found more than one CFI non-profit corporation based at the same New York address. I found, in addition to CFI, the “Center For Inquiry Development Fund,” and the “Center For Inquiry Holding Corporation.” You can look at sample of their Form 990’s by clicking on their blue-highlighted name. In short, the Amherst, NY operation apparently brings in about seven million dollars a year.
Below you will find much more information about CFI, its founders, and management.
The Definition of a “quackbuster/skeptic…”
The health care system in the US is junk. Why? Because patient care is selected, not on what is best for the patient, but what is most profitable for the provider. The system is focused ONLY on dealing with health issues that have a highly profitable, patented, and approved by the FDA medication, or an equally mega-expensive surgery available for them. ALL of the rest are virtually ignored.
All of them. For instance:
(a) In the United States alone there are 800,000 victims of Cerebral Palsy – and the official mantra is that “nothing can be done for them. They should be institutionalized.”
(b) There are 2,000,000 victims of Autism Spectrum Disorder – and the official mantra is that “nothing can be done for them. They should be institutionalized.”
(c) There are 3,400,000 victims of Traumatic Brain Injury – and the official mantra is that “nothing can be done for them. They should be institutionalized.”
(d) I could go on almost endlessly leafing through the facts and figures of US health care and where it fails: Autoimmune diseases and disorders, diabetes, stroke, heart disease, mitochondrial disorders, and of course the heartbreak of cancer.
Why? Because our status quo system of health care has little, or nothing, to offer these people towards resolution – and, with our current health care thinking – never will. Because the US health care system is profitable, there is no point – for there is no profit in resolving health issues. And, we the people have let this happen.
It is the “quackbusters” job to do two things: (a) discourage or make certain that no innovation is allowed that would change this paradigm. They need to make sure that none of these health issues are ever fixed, nor even properly addressed, especially with health paradigms that compete for health dollars generated by drugs and surgery, and (b) demonize those that criticize the status quo (anti-vaccinations, fluoride, mercury amalgam, aspartame, GMO, dental root canals, etc.).
The questions that arise, of course, are: “What kind of people would create this horror for Americans and others around the world? Who would do this to other humans?. Are they sociopaths, psychopaths, sub-humans with pervasive personality disorders?
Let’s paint the picture…
Lets answer that question I proposed above, “What kind of people would create this horror for Americans and others around the world? Who would do this to other humans?. Are they sociopaths, psychopaths, sub-humans with pervasive personality disorders?
I’m going to show you, from their own words and actions, who the “Skeptics” (pseudo-skeptics) really are. You are not going to like what I show you. Unfortunately what I show you is very real.
(1) I want you to take a brief look at a video on Youtube. It is of James Randi and Steven Novella. Novella is a close associate of Randi’s, and as the video dialogue explains, they work closely together. Novella is the head of the New England Skeptics and they are, I believe, the center-point for the Wikipedia and Google SEO projects. You don’t have to watch the whole video. The first few minutes will give you all you need about “the close relationship” between these two – and, most importantly, you will be able to recognize James Randi’s voice. I will give you access to that video in a minute.
(2) Then I want you to listen to an audio tape, one of seven I have involving James Randi. All of these tapes circulate through the internet, and they have been talked about for years. The Canadian news media mentions them prominently. I have talked about them before. But here, from the Toronto Star:
February 11, 1996, Toronto Star: “What I had hesitated to mention is that the colorful Randi has been involved in a number of lawsuits. Part of the evidence brought against Randi was a tape of his telephone conversations, of explicit sexual content, with teenage boys. Randi has at different times claimed that the tape was a hoax made by his enemies to blackmail him, that he made the tape himself, and that the police asked him to make it. Whichever version is true, it’s amazing indeed that such a person could be taken seriously as a scientific adviser in an organization dedicated to denying claims of child sexual abuse.” This tape was played during a trial in which Randi was accused by Eldon Byrd, a good friend of Uri and a former Naval Surface Weapons Center researcher, of defamation by claiming he was known pedophile. True or not, during the trial Byrd and his team played a tape on which Randi was speaking to a small boy about sex and how much it would cost. Randi claimed it was all a setup by Byrd and the boys on the tape were prank callers. The judge wasn’t so sure about that, especially because Randi voluntarily called back one of the boys after the latter told him his money was running out.” To read the whole piece, click here.
(3) Then I want you to watch one more video – this time, in its entirety. A sub-group of the “skeptics” (pseudo-skeptics) calling themselves the “Skepchicks,” who it looks to be, are primarily employees of “skeptic” organizations, host their blogs with a webmaster named “Steve” who, I believe, is the POSTER BOY for “skepticism.”
I have had a lot of experience dealing with “skeptics” most of which hide behind anonymity. If “skeptics” could be stereotyped “Steve” would be the mold. I have the strong impression that every “skeptic” sub-group is made up, primarily, of “Steves,” in various shapes and colors.
And, they want to manage your children, and your healthcare.
(4) Before you watch and listen to the recordings I want to reiterate something important – all of the skeptic sub groups were organized and are/were managed by Paul Kurtz and James Randi.
Like recruits like…
CSICOP (CSI) (CFI), the current “skeptic” flagship has a three million two hundred thousand dollar ($3,200,000) annual budget – from anonymous sources. Read carefully the text below, about Paul Kurtz, CFI’s founder..
“Prometheus Books is the leading publisher of pseudoskeptical, materialist, secular humanist and atheist books in U.S. According to wikipedia “Prometheus Books is a publishing company founded in August 1969 by Paul Kurtz, who also founded the Council for Secular Humanism and co- founded Committee for Skeptical Inquiry. He is currently the chairman of all three organizations. Prometheus books publishes a range of books, including many about science, especially those of a skeptical nature“
Note that Prometheus Books was founded by Paul Kurtz, the atheist and materialist philosopher founder of the pseudoskeptical organization CSICOP (now called CSI, or CFI).
Well, if you enter to the website of Prometheus Books, and see the section on “Human Sexuality”, you’ll see titles explicitly or implicitly endorsing, promoting and justifying(with pseudo-scientific and “rationalistic” jargon) pornography, prostitution, paedophilia, sado-masochism, zoophilia, and other sexual aberrations and pervertions. In other sections you’ll see titles supporting abortion and infanticide, or weird behaviours like transvestism.
The original “Human Sexuality” section of Prometheus Books catalog was edited by CSICOP/CSI Fellow and International Academy of Humanism Secretariat Dr. Vern Bullough, who according to wikipedia was “a member of the editorial board of Paidika: The Journal of Paedophilia.”
This pseudo-scientific and immoral journal (Paidika) was a pro-paedophilia journal. According to wikipedia “Paidika: The Journal of Paedophilia (1987–1995) was a journal published by the Stichting Paidika Foundation. Articles drawn from it are available from a number of pro-pedophile activist websites. Its editor was Joseph Geraci and the editorial board included articles by writers Frits Bernard, Edward Brongersma, Vern L. Bullough, and D. H. (Donald) Mader, some of whom campaigned as pro-pedophile activists“
The Recordings…
(1) The Steven Novella – James Randi interview. Note the smugness. Click here.
(2) One of the James Randi sex with young boys audio tapes – several few minutes long, but long enough for any parent of a young child, realizing that that youngster on the other end of that conversation could have been theirs. This recording was from a telephone answering machine – so there are a few unrelated messages before you get to the boy. Listen to what the boy says about where he got Randi’s phone number – the Arcade where the children go on the boardwalk. Click on the arrow just below. The conversation with the young boy starts at 1:20…
(3) Listen to “Steve” tell you about his position. Take what he says literally. Want this guy as your next-door-neighbor? The head of your local Boy Scout Troop? Working for the local Child Protective Services? Park Patrol? Click here.
The Core of the skeptics…
To understand the core of the “skeptics” you have to understand the role of Loren Pankratz PhD in the “skeptic” scheme of things. Pankratz describes himself as a forensic psychologist from Oregon Health Sciences University. He is a fellow of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry (CSI) division of the Center For Inquiry (CFI), a board member of the National Council Against Health Fraud (NCAHF), and a board member of the False Memory Syndrome Foundation (FMSF). It’s that last group that makes him really interesting.
Pankratz is joined on the FMSF board by James Randi and a man named Ralph Underwager (you’ll see more about Underwager just below).
Pankratz has made a career out of testifying on behalf of accused child molesters, claiming that he, as an expert psychologist, knows that the children are lying, or that they have “False Memory Syndrome,” whatever that is. In a famous federal criminal court case in South Dakota, Pankratz, along with another FMSF goofball Ralph Underwager, teamed up to try to get a new trial for four extended family tribal males who had been convicted of the sexual abuse of five adopted female children, ages 20 months to seven years old. Underwager, according to the court documents, had “interviewed” the children, by himself, getting them to recant their testimony so as to get a new trial. Pankratz had given the small children a lie detector test, which, supposedly showed that they had lied in court the first time. But the Federal Appeals Court didn’t buy it and disqualified both Underwager and Pankratz as expert witnesses.
The Appeal Decision is sickening reading. It shows a depth of depravity most people don’t even want to think could happen to children. You can read the whole document by clicking on the blue highlighted text just above. But, if you are short of time, just below, is ONE of the examining MD’s reports on the children. I give you this so there is NO MISTAKE here about what we are talking about:
“The trial testimony of Dr. Kaplan and Dr. Farrell established that the children had been sexually abused. The children described the abuse to Dr. Kaplan shortly after they were removed from their home. The government concisely summarized some of the pertinent medical testimony in its Post-Hearing Brief:
Dr. Kaplan testified that on January 15, 1994, he examined [J. R.], who was four-and-a-half years old at the time. Trial Transcript (hereinafter referred to as TT) 202. [J.R.] told Dr. Kaplan that Uncle Jess hurt her “privates.” TT 203. While Dr. Kaplan was completing the genital examination of [J.R.]., she told him “Uncle Jess hurt me” and when asked where, [J.R.] pointed to her left labia. TT 205. Dr. Kaplan found redness and signs of recent trauma, including a bruise or contusion. TT 205. As Dr. Kaplan examined [J.R.’s] anal opening, [J.R.] said that Uncle Jess has used his hand in her butt. TT 206. Dr. Kaplan found that his physical findings were consistent with sexual abuse. TT 208.
Dr. Kaplan also examined [L.R.], who was six years old at the time. [L.R.] told Dr. Kaplan to “check my peach” because it hurt. TT 213. [L.R.] told Dr. Kaplan that her uncles hurt her. TT 213. Dr. Kaplan found a large bruise and redness on [L.R’s] labia majora on the right side and found that [L.R’s] hymen was somewhat disrupted. TT 213. He determined that the injury was fairly acute and had occurred within the last few weeks. TT 214. He testified that his findings were consistent with child sexual abuse. TT 214.
Dr. Kaplan also examined [R.R.], who was five years old at the time. While examining [R.R’s] genitalia, she volunteered spontaneously, “ I have a bruise where my uncle put his private spot. TT 219. [R.R.] volunteered that her uncle Garfield did this at her Grandma’s house. TT 219. [R.R.] also stated that her uncle put his private “in my butt.” TT 220. Dr. Kaplan found a readily open hymen and a midline scar on the anus at six o’clock. TT 221.
Dr. Kaplan also examined [T.R.], who was seven years old at the time. He found obvious trauma and contusion on her inner labia majora. [T.R.] told Dr. Kaplan, “Uncle Jesse hurt me there.” TT 224. Dr. Kaplan found [T.R’s] hymen to be disrupted and determined that his findings were consistent with sexual abuse. TT 225.
Dr. Farrell conducted further examinations of [R.R, T.R, F.R, L.R, and J.R.] in February of 1994. Dr. Farrell found evidence of tearing and scarring of the anal mucosa on [F.R.] TT 387. In examining [R.R.], Dr. Farrell found obvious damage to the hymenal ring and a scar at six o’clock. TT 390. [R.R.] also had a tearing at the seven o’clock position in the anal area. TT 389 [should be TT 393]. Dr. Farrell found a fusion at the six o’clock position on [L.R.] TT 396. He also found evidence of anal trauma at the twelve o’clock position on [L.R.] TT 398. Dr. Farrell further noted a tag or scar on the hymen at the six o’clock position when he examined [J.R.]. TT 399. Dr. Farrell also found that the anterior portion of he hymenal ring was essentially gone on seven-year-old [T.R.] TT 400.
At trial, even the defendants’ medical expert, Dr. Fay, found that the injuries to [L.R., R.R., and J.R.] were very suspicious and may have been acquired through sexual trauma. TT 1023. Dr. Fay also found that the labial injuries to [T.R, L.R, and J.R.] were only seven to ten days old. TT 1016.
Pankratz, it was shown, had no idea how to conduct a polygraph examination. Underwager, Pankratz and Randi’s FMSF buddy, went on to be disqualified in a stream of cases, shown here, throughout America. At the time this happened these little girls were respectively, 20 months old, four-and-a-half, six, and seven years old.
Are the “skeptics” credible?
It was Martin Luther King, in his famous “I have a Dream” Speech that said:
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
Judge for yourself. Look at the content of the skeptic’s character.
Stay Tuned…
