The mainstream media “Outrage Machine” is at it again…
The target this time is Darla Shine, the wife of Bill Shine, the new White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications.
I have provided the link to The Washington Post article (remember, democracy dies in darkness!) so you can more closely read about her alleged crimes. Paramount among them is wanting rappers to remove the N-word from their lyrics. Horror! Oh, the horror! What will we do if rappers stop using the N-word? Seriously, isn’t the N-word something that people everybody should retire from their vocabulary?
At the risk of offending free speech purists I want to make a suggestion. Let’s simply ban the N-word from any public or private conversations.
Can we at least agree on that?
To the brilliant writers of The Washington Post her call for rappers to remove the N-word from their lyrics means she wants the right to use it if they don’t. Please explain that twisted logic to me.
Oh, and she also tweeted about vaccines and autism…
Here is a sample of what she wrote. “Biggest national security threat is autism!” read one tweet. “How can we run a country when half of all boys will be autistic by 2050?” “1 out of 10 black boys has autism,” read another tweet. According to The Washington Post, she has tweeted about the danger of vaccines at least a dozen times.
“I never wanted to be a housewife. I grew wanting to not be like my mother. She was always cooking, cleaning the house, drinking coffee with her girlfriends and to me her life seemed so mundane. I was going to have a big career and ‘be somebody.’ I went to college, grad school, I was a TV reporter, producer, and I loved every second of it…
But once I gave birth to ‘somebody’ my entire outlook on life changed. I wanted to be with my baby. I couldn’t leave him for 10 hours a day and I was willing to do everything I had to do to be home with him. Times were tough adjusting to losing half our income. So we stayed home and I cooked. It was those days when I had to make one piece of meat turn into four meals that I learned how creative I was, and how easily I could cut back and stretch my budget. I didn’t like being broke so I came up with one idea after another to make money from my house. I am still creating projects for myself and I am still lucky to be home with my children.
I didn’t like the way I was treated when I traded my briefcase for my diaper bag. I suddenly was ‘uninteresting’ or that is how many of my ‘career girlfriends’ made me feel. So I decided to make a statement by writing Happy Housewives. I am here to shout out to all homemakers that it is okay to be home, and if you are going to do it, do it proudly.”
You go girl!
Now I don’t know Darla Shine. But John Gilmore, our friend at the Autism Action Network does. Here is what he sent out in an email blast.
“Darla Shine, the wife of Bill Shine, the recently appointed White House deputy chief of staff for communication, is under attack by the corporate media for her tweets expressing concern for the exponential growth rate of autism, especially among African-American boys, vaccine safety, and violent side effects of prescription psychoactive drugs, among other issues.
Verizon’s Huffington Post, Jeff Bezos’s Washington Post, and Mediaite, owned by Abrams Media which is headed by Disney/ABC News Legal Affairs Anchor Dan Abrams, have all published attack articles on Shine in the past few days accusing her of racism, islamophobia, transphobia, sexism, promoting de-bunked medical theories, promoting sexual harassment, in short, every accusation they can drum up hoping something will stick in an effort to discredit her. Other outlets in the corporate media echo chamber are picking up the accusations.
I know Darla Shine. She is not a racist, or any of the other nasty names being hurled against her. She is, however, very concerned about autism, and vaccine safety. And does anyone who pays any attention doubt that is the real basis for the attacks against her? Drug companies are the leading source of advertising dollars for the corporate media (as well as political campaign contributions.) And does anyone doubt that the goal here is to warn off anyone connected to the administration from stepping out of line?
Please click on the Take Action link below to send a message to the White House and let the President know that you too share Darla Shine’s concern about the catastrophic rise in the number of people with autism, now 1 in 36 American children according to the National Center for Health Statistics. And that you too are concerned about vaccine and pharmaceutical safety and want to see real action taken by the administration to protect our children from vaccine injury, and stem the exponential growth of the autism epidemic.”

Kent’s book PLAGUE was released by Skyhorse Publishing in 2014 and is now available in paperback. Skyhorse also publishes the work of Mo Yan, the 2012 recipient of the Nobel Prize in literature.
The book is co-authored with Judy Mikovits PhD. It is an indictment of the “Fake Science” we find so prevalent in the US.
