It Is Here Right Now..
When I was younger I wrote a great deal about politics and many thought I’d eventually run for office. I mean, isn’t that the eventual goal of everybody who writes about politics? It’s just the platform they’re using to get to the next step?
But my college roommate had a different take. He said, “Kent, you’re doing just what you want to do, writing about what you think is important. There is no next step for you.”
So there you have it.
For the last fifteen years I’ve been consumed with autism, the corrupt vaccine schedule, and the political patterns which have allowed this holocaust to rage unchecked in our world.
Yes, I will use the word, holocaust.
Let me say it clearly: Both democratic and republican politicians have allowed this holocaust to rage unchecked. Republicans may be salvageable at this point. Democrats have embraced lunacy and nothing short of an intervention will save them.
From my knowledge of history I can tell you that I could have easily been an FDR democrat, a Harry Truman democrat, a John F. Kennedy democrat, and although it may come as a shock to some, I voted for Bill Clinton twice, and was happy to do it. (You see, no political party really wants me, because I’m not anybody’s ‘reliable’ vote.)
Aside from his significant personal failings, Bill Clinton is the model democrats should be following in the wake of the Trump victory, but probably will not. Politics is the art of persuasion, not shouting down those who disagree with you. It also helps if you understand the weaknesses of your own arguments and the strengths of your opponents arguments.
After the democrats had lost five out of the last six presidential elections (Nixon, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Reagan, Bush), Clinton founded the Southern Democratic Leadership Council. The goal was to figure out why democrats kept losing. There were strategies that democrats could embrace that allowed them to win and he wanted to find them.
And one of Bill Clinton’s greatest strengths was that when you spoke to him, he made you feel like there was nobody else in the world. If Bill Clinton was in a room full of people and there was one person who didn’t like him, he would seek out that person and try to win him over. Clinton tried to figure out a path that was acceptable to both sides of the political aisle.
Bill Clinton made the other side feel that even if you didn’t agree with him, he still wanted you at the barbecue and eventually the two of you would figure something out. He was a human being who had some political ideas and he wanted to talk to you about them.
That era in the Democratic Party is long gone.
Hillary Clinton makes the other side feel as if they are not only unwelcome at the barbecue, she doesn’t even want them in the neighborhood. Bernie Sanders would be right beside her as the grumpy old man shouting that people who think differently should get off his lawn.
I don’t think that’s a strategy for success.
All the democratic party is offering to those who do not agree with it is to attack their motives. The only plan they offer is an un-elected bureaucratic state which is owned by big corporations, such as the pharmaceutical industry.
Robert Kennedy, Jr. has spoken of this so eloquently. He has said that if liberals fear big corporations and conservatives fear big government, well, the current nightmare should be clear to everybody.
What we need is our democracy back, where we assume good intentions on the other side, and we TALK TO EACH OTHER, and listen. Perhaps we will modify our positions. Perhaps we will change some minds on the other side.
But when people complain about my comments on the current democratic party, all I can do is say the following:
IT IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WHICH IS ACTIVELY PUSHING MANDATORY VACCINATIONS.
IT IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WHICH IS ACTIVELY OPPOSING THOSE WHO QUESTION VACCINE SAFETY.
IT IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WHICH DO NOT WANT TO HAVE A DEBATE ON WHETHER WE CAN MAKE OUR OWN HEALTHCARE DECISIONS.
IT IS THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WHICH ENGAGES IN POLITICAL VIOLENCE AND SHOUTING DOWN OF VIEWS WITH WHICH THEY DO NOT AGREE.
I really wish I could say something different, because I have had great friends on both sides of the political aisle.
The godparents of my vaccine-injured child? Very vocal and well-connected democratic activists. (And in the years she has been alive, have they given her a single card, a present, or offered an hour of babysitting? So much for that democratic compassion.)
I’m not owned by anybody and I’m not interested in any next step.
I’m just telling you the way it appears to me.
The losses the democratic party have already suffered are nothing compared to what is coming – if they don’t change their ways.
Kent: Good analysis. I regret voting for Bill Clinton. A consummate politician, as you say, but a man without character. The elephant in the room here is the unelected government, the vast bureaucratic state, which continues to rule, with little oversight, regardless of who is elected. Especially the national security state.
It’s not like the GOP to pass up an massive opportunity to derail the Democrats. It’s coming. There must be some complex negotiations with the vaccine industry going on. This will peel off large chunks of the Dem base, in fact, it’s already happening, quietly.
