Readers may recall that in light of the harassment and banning by Australian immigration authorities of Polly Tommey, Autism Files publisher and a producer of Vaxxed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe, I applied to visit Australia to discuss my books PLAGUE and INOCULATED.
Oh, and I made it clear to the Australian authorities that I was to be referred to as the “WORLD’S #1 ANTI-VAXXER”, just so there was no confusion as to my intentions.
I was banned from Australia for a period of three years,
even though I provided them with an electronic copy of my book, INOCULATED, and asked them to point out any mistakes of fact which rendered me as they claimed, “an unfit character” to visit the land Down Under.
I pledged to fight this injustice and appear before Australian audiences. Did I parachute in the dead of night into the Australian outback where I was met by a renegade band of friendly Aborigines, intent on saving the planet from the destruction of the white man? Did I perhaps fly to Malaysia, where some helpful native fishermen took me in a canoe to Australia under cover of darkness?
No. The evil minions of the Turnbull government could not keep me off the internet, particularly Skype.
When I received an invitation from Meryl Dorey of the Australian Vaccination Network to appear by Skype to host a discussion after a screening of the film, Vaxxed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe, on October 21, 2017 I eagerly accepted, even though it meant I had to get up at 3:30 in the morning.
I am sending a brief letter to Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull to keep him apprised of recent events and future plans.
Dear Prime Minister Turnbull:
Even though I have greeted you in the spirit of friendship and open communication regarding the tremendous threat posed by vaccines to the young, old, and pretty much every citizen of your country, you have responded by treating me with great disrespect and banned me from your country.
Yes, in response I did call for President Trump to enforce a naval blockade of your country and provide non-lethal military aid to the Australian rebels, but so far he has not given me an answer. I think he has been busy approving the de-classification of the JFK assassination files, ruining the NFL, and making America great again.
You may not have heard of this thing called the “internet” which allows people to communicate by voice, video, and text, even though they may be separated by thousands of miles.
When I received an invitation to host a discussion of the documentary, Vaxxed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe in rural Queensland, I eagerly jumped at the opportunity.
I used the magic of the internet to appear on Skype and had a lovely discussion for about an hour with some of your citizens. I must say I REALLY like the Australian people.
Despite your tyranny, I have penetrated the body of the Australian nation through technology and it is my intention to go in and out, in and out, in and out, as often as I please. (Read that last passage a few times to your wife and see if it makes her randy. Just curious.)
In the spirit of friendship, I again offer you and your lovely wife, Lucy, exile to the Maldives Islands for your crimes against humanity and selling of Australia to Big Pharma. I will also allow Lucy to keep her six million shares of pharmaceutical company stock, although I don’t think they will be worth very much after you turn over the records of the corruption of the Australian political system by Big Pharma.

Sorry to rain on your parade Gary Ogden but how can an article that is either wryly amusing or gratuitously unpleasant depending on one’s viewpoint, and appearing at a screening courtesy of the internet be possibly construed as having anybody ‘by the short hairs’, as you put it, least of all the Australian authorities?
Of course Oz has heard of the internets.
They have one of the of the strictest censorship regimes outside of the Great Firewall of China, the envy of many Western governments.

There’s certainly a Marxism/fascist side to the govermental character, which seems to suit a takeover of policy by pseudo-skepics. Let’s hope the law of uninteded consequences does not apply, else you may precipitate a ban on such ‘terrorist’ views being expressed

kevin morris: Kent is, among other things, a middle school teacher. To survive as such takes at least two essential attributes: 1. Guts. 2. A finely crafted sense of humor. He could easily have an additional career as a professional humor writer; he’s that good, as he has shown us in his dealings with the fascist Australian state. He has every right to loathe authorities everywhere for what they’ve done to his precious daughter, and he could approach this by ranting and screaming, but I think he has been far more effective using humor to make them look as ridiculous as they are. They have forfeited all right to make decisions affecting their citizens. It is in the spirit of solidarity with Kent’s putting them in their place with humor that I comment as I do.
