The Cambridge English dictionary defines a HERO as “a person admired for bravery, great achievements, or good qualities.”
All of these are accurate descriptions of Dr. Judy Mikovits, the co-author of my new book, PLAGUE OF CORRUPTION.
These traits are universal across all cultures, nations, genders, and ideologies. When you are in the presence of a hero, you can feel it, almost a whisper of divinity and meaning, even when our lives seem so devoid of these qualities. Heroes remind of us what we can be at our best, what God was truly hoping we would aspire to be when we were created.
By the same token, villains are also similar across all groups. They hate the truth. They hate the light. They hate the happiness of good health. They are liars. And they are deceivers.
We know what villains try to do to heroes, don’t we?
They lie about them and try to bring them down. Mark Twain said a lie can make it half-way around the world before the truth can even put its pants on.
That’s why the first chapter of our new book, PLAGUE OF CORRUPTION, deals with the attempt to destroy the reputation of Dr. Mikovits, first by throwing her in jail for five days without an arrest warrant, then slandering her in the bought and paid for corporate pharma media.
Yes, Dr. Mikovits knew she was under surveillance (after two years of the Trump-Russian collusion nonsense it all looks a little different, doesn’t it?) and took actions to foil them, by hiding out on a boat until she had what she thought was proper legal representation.
If you think this is a right/left fight you have it wrong.
This is about corruption, and it’s just as likely to be left-wing (a little bit more active) or right-wing (turning their heads and pretending not to see the crimes), but it affects all of us.
I remember talking to Robert Kennedy, Jr. once and he made the observation that he thought 100% of Republicans were corrupt regarding the problems in public health and about 95% of democrats were as well. I thought it was funny, because if you’d asked me, I would have said just the reverse, meaning there were only about 5% of republicans I thought could be trusted on this issue.
Personally, I’d have more trust in the first two thousand people in the phone-book than any of our legislators.
Got it? I don’t think we suffer because of political divisions. I think we suffer because our leaders lack a moral compass and anything vaguely resembling character.
Seriously, what issue could be larger than whether we are damaging a generation of children with vaccines and other chemicals? I can’t think of one. Dr. Mikovits and Robert Kennedy, Jr. can’t as well. That’s why I spend my time supporting good people in science or those making the fight for truth.
