“Hoaxed” – Movie Review…

I want to encourage all of you to watch Mike Cernovich’s wonderful film, “Hoaxed”…

I know many who follow BolenReport tend to be politically conservative.  Those who attack us are left wing.

Yes, we have an obvious conservative bias.  We are provocatively right wing because of the overwhelming amount of left wing media.  We are trying to strike a balance, so that actual thinking might occur.

When I watched “Hoaxed” the first thing which took my breath away was when Mike Cernovich comes out and talks about how the media sets up a narrative of heroes and villains, with the conservatives always being the villains.  I almost danced out of my skin because I couldn’t believe a major media figure was setting the table so beautifully.

Just below is the two minute “Hoaxed” Movie Trailer…

The media used to be about presenting both sides of an issue without the hero vs. villain narrative.

One could understand and appreciate both positions, even if you found yourself on the opposing side.  Your opponent had a different belief, but they were not evil.

That is not the way the media plays today.

These days it’s all about Nazis and anti-Nazis.  I wish I was joking when I say this, but I’m not.

I was also deeply moved by the Scott Adams piece where he says that the normal person who doesn’t find themselves in the media spotlight doesn’t understand how completely dishonest it it.  The media doesn’t even bother to check their facts about you.  They have their narrative about you and they run with it.

Although I haven’t had the same media coverage as Scott Adams , I have had the experience of making it into papers around the world when I was BANNED FROM SPEAKING IN AUSTRALIA because my subject matter was VACCINES.  I was in Australian papers, British papers, American papers, and even Chinese papers.

Did even a single news outlet call me for a comment?

No, they didn’t.

I have no problem highlighting what’s gone wrong in the system, but it can often leave me feeling overwhelmed.  Am I just going to be the complainer for the rest of my life?  That’s why I found Cernovich’s film so remarkably inspiring.  The ending segment reaches into the distant past as Stefan Molyneaux reviews Plato’s allegory of the cave.

In the allegory, those who are chained in darkness cannot even see the fire which is casting shadows upon the wall.  Eventually one of the prisoners is able to turn and see the first, and distant shadows upon the wall.  He believes that to be reality.

He is able to make further progress, moving beyond the fire and understanding the shadows on the wall, until he can leave the cave behind and see the world of the open sunlight.  He drinks in the spectacular and unsuspected beauty, then moves back into the cave to tell his comrades of the wonderful things which await them if they can slip their chains.

But his comrades fear him, claiming he’s telling lies and wants to lead them to destruction.  It’s in that moment the one who has broken free has a choice.  Does he move forward alone, knowing the truth, or does he choose to return to his friends in the cave and encourage them even though they berate him?

I have felt that same pull many times in my life.  There are those I love who believe I am on the side of demons.  How do I speak with love to those who consider me dangerous, as I try to free them of their chains?

I think “Hoaxed” is the best documentary of our times…

It’s a bit of a change because you can’t see it on Netflix or Amazon, but try it on Vimeo.  It’s really simple.

Even a caveman like me was able to be watching in two minutes.

And it is worth your time, because it is the true story of our time.

You can catch the whole movie here.

  1. Kent –

Being a “Thought Leader,” like you are, is difficult, for it takes an ability to look around carefully, right in the middle of the melee, and make sense of surroundings, for the purpose of moving the crowd towards the exits, calmly.

“We,” meaning the carriers of Western Civilization, sat for too long in our comfort zones, enjoying the fruits of our forbears, while the barbarians tested our gates. Now we’ve had to pick up the sword, and the barbarians are beginning to find out why they should have stayed away from our gates.

Don’t be overwhelmed – the fun has just begun…

  2. I find it interestting that you mention “Nazi” in this context in the US, Kent.
Over in Germany, you think three times before you apply that label to anyone; anyone, that is unless you disagree with Madam Führer Merkel. Anyone who disagrees with her is automatically a Nazi!
She’s even invented a special name for us, “Reichsbürger”, implying that anyone who presents a different opinion is a part of the Third Reich. Yet it is she who, over the last two years, has re-enacted so many Gestapo laws to gradually give her unlimited power.

On the up-side. When we hold a public talk and the police are sent in with instructions to control these right-wing radicals many of them listen to us and become members.

Human consciousness is changing: It just needs to be shown the way.
I’m looking forward to the film.
Must see if we can raise some money to get it dubbed into German.

    Blessed be

    Karma

  3. Since you say that you are being provocatively rightwing, I feel I should put my tenpennorth in. A book recently came out criticising the BBC. One of the objections was that the BBC was a purveyor of left wing propaganda. Well I’m left wing and I didn’t agree. What the BBC does and I’ll bet much of the US media is that it infantalises. It also uses key words to end open debate by creating woolly thinking, just as you did by using the term Nazi. Most of the young, be they left or right of persuasion are naieve. The people who call the shots in our world wish them to stay that way and are extremely skillful at doing so. That most certainly isn’t a left wing agenda

Use the word Nazi and it is very difficult for most people to think clearly about anything. Frankly we all need clear thinking, free of emotional button pressing, especially since we live in societies that only want uncritical consumers. I accept that sometimes it is a good thing to shock but in this case I think it’s counterproductive doing it the political way that you do. Vaccination is an important enough subject for some people of all political persuasions to be convinced provided skillful means are used to persuade them.

And on a point of interest which might well offend many if they concentrate on the button pressing triggers. Germany under the Nazi regime was at least thirty years in advance of the UK and the US in terms of cancer prevention and cancer treatment. At the end of the day, clarity of thinking and skillful presentation of the facts are far more important than button pressing

    Now I’ll watch the trailer!

As an aside, the HPV vaccine may have an exceptional capability to involve CYP450 and cell mitochondria damage. Recently emerging research apparently indicates the Human Papilloma Virus vaccine contains human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), the anti-fertility ingredient also found in the Tetanus vaccine given to child-bearing-age females in Kenya, Africa, that was confirmed by independent testing.
