Frank Cousineau was born in Hollywood, California and raised in the Los Angeles area for the first 18 years of his life.

He attended Don Bosco Technical High School, and graduated from Montebello High School in 1964.  After two years of college in Santa Barbara, (Santa Barbara City College and University of California, Santa Barbara), Frank moved to Modesto and graduated from Stanislaus State College ( now California State University, Stanislaus) in 1969 with a B.A. in History, and a dual Minor in English and Economics.

He was one class shy of an Elementary Teaching Credential when his mother came down with cancer in the spring of 1973.  Surgery and chemotherapy proved to be of no use, so he took his mother to Dr. Ernesto Contreras, Sr. in Tijuana, Mexico, for alternative therapy.  Not only did it prolong his mother’s life, making her passing more comfortable, he met his future wife there.

Frank’s involvement in Alternative Therapies increased dramatically when he married Dr. Contreras’ secretary.  Frank and his wife have been married for over 40 years and have five children ranging in ages from 40 down to 26, and 10 grandchildren.

In 1980 Frank and his wife formed Life Support to supply alternative hospitals, clinics, and doctors with natural innovative products.  In addition, he is a consultant to medical doctors and clinics specializing in alternative and complementary medicine.  Life Support now offers products and services to the public through its web site:  lifesupportweb.com.

Since 1985, Frank has also been an independent Labor Relations Consultant, advising Employers how to stay incompliance with the myriad state and federal labor regulations, and representing clients before all government agencies and labor unions.

He is the President of the Cancer Control Society, a leading non-profit, charitable organization, headquartered in Los Angeles, which disseminates information about alternative and complementary medicine on a daily basis.

He is also President of the International Association of Cancer Victors and Friends, another non-profit, charitable organization, headquartered in Santa Clarita, California, which also disseminates information about alternative and complementary medicine and provides services for physician, clinics and patients.

Since 1984, Frank has organized and led Tours of the Tijuana Cancer Clinics under the auspices of the Cancer Control Society.  These Tours are also approved as Continuing Education Classes for California nurses and dentists.

He hosted the First Global Virtual Conference on Alternative Cancer Therapies for the Next Decade in August 2007, on www.IAMHEALTHYRADIO.COM.  He was the host of Practical Tips for Healthy Living, also on I Am Healthy Radio.

He is the co-author of Amish Cancer Secret and America’s Best Cancer Doctors, e-books which provide an introduction to the alternative medical facilities located in Mexico and the United States; and he wrote one of the Forewords for The Scientific Basis of Chinese Integrative Cancer Therapy, as well as other books related to health and cancer.

Frank is a regular participant at the annual Cancer Control Society Japan Convention.  He is a frequent guest on talk shows dealing with cancer and health issues.  Several years ago, he developed a presentation for health conferences about Alternative Cancer Therapies and how to decide which therapy and clinic is the optimal choice for particular patients at particular times.

Much of his time, currently, is devoted to assisting and advising cancer patients, their families and friends as to which treatment program will best suit a cancer patient.
