Quackwatch, Inc Fails To Respond...
August 3rd, 2010
- Keep in mind that
there are three Defendants in the
Doctor's Data v Barrett, et al Federal
Court case in Northern Illinois - and
all three have to lawyer up and Respond
within the Court's required time.
Only Barrett,
himself, as an individual, was given 60
days, instead of 21, to formally Respond
to a lawsuit. Neither of the other
two Defendants, Quackwatch, Inc, nor the
National Council Against Health Fraud (NCAHF)
was given any extra time. They
have 21 days from the time of service to
hire legal counsel and formally Respond.
Well guess what?
Quackwatch, Inc. was
served on July 6th, 2010.
Twenty-one days later was July 28th,
2010. So - Quackwatch, Inc now has
a big problem.

July 16th, 2010 - The silence is
telling.
It is now, by my
initial calculations, four days beyond
the deadline for Stephen Barrett to have
filed a Response to the Federal Lawsuit
filed against him by Doctor's Data
laboratory in the Northern District of
Illinois.
I just now checked my
Pacer
Account - and no Response has been filed
by anyone, and there is no attorney
listed for any of the Defendants.
Yup, the silence is
telling. And, it feels really
good.

July 4th, 2010 - In the Federal Court System a defendant is given 21
full days to properly Respond to a
lawsuit. Let's assume, for the
moment, that since Stephen Barrett was
sued by Doctor's Data on June 18th,
2010, that he was served with papers on
the 19th, the next day. Counting
21 days from that moment brings us to
Monday, July 12th, 2010 - the deadline
for Barrett to hire an attorney who can
practice in Federal Court in Chicago,
Illinois, and prepare, and submit a
Response to the Court. That's
eight
days from now - and Barrett does not
even have an attorney yet.
What happens
if Barrett does not Respond? (I'm
getting all excited thinking about
this).

June 21st, 2010 - The North
Carolina Dental board is in BIG TROUBLE...
On Thursday
June 17th, 2010 The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) filed
formal charges against the North Carolina Dental Board,
saying:
"Dentists in North Carolina, acting through the
instrument of the North Carolina Board of Dental
Examiners (“Dental Board”), are colluding to exclude
non-dentists from competing with dentists in the
provision of teeth whitening services. The actions of
the Dental Board prevent and deter non-dentists from
providing or expanding teeth whitening services,
increase prices and reduce consumer choice without any
legitimate justification or defense, including the
“state action” defense. The actions of the Dental Board
unreasonably restrain competition and violate Section 5
of the Federal Trade Commission Act."

Will the San Diego
Federal Judge Put Stephen Barrett in Jail?...

Oh my, the
"Barrett Settlement" story, in San Diego, is getting even better. It
seems that now the Federal judge in the case has assigned a Federal Magistrate
Judge, Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo "to retain jurisdiction for settlement
purposes."
Wow - this could could get interesting.
VERY interesting. I'll explain.
I have a copy, right here on my desk, of the settlement
statement wording agreed to, and ORDERED by the Court, and so far, I don't see
that wording on Barrett's website, nor do I see his minions mouthing those COURT
ORDERED words. Apparently they must all be in shock and cannot bring
themselves to comply with the Court Order.
And NO, I'm not going to tell you what those COURT ORDERED
words are. I'm going to wait and see what happens. Frankly, I hope
Barrett decides to defy the Federal Magistrate Judge. Then Negrete can file for an
Order of Contempt. Being called on the carpet in front of a Federal Judge
could have serious consequences for Barrett.
Contempt, in a Federal court, is taken very seriously.

Wikipedia Doesn't Like Me ...
January 2nd, 2010 - Wikipedia's General Counsel, Mike
Godwin, is sending me nasty emails. Apparently he doesn't like me telling
people how bad Wikipedia actually is, and he definitely doesn't want me telling
you what to do about it - when it effects you personally. He actually, the
other day, said I "was trying to destroy Wikipedia..."
Stand back while I turn down my
testosterone levels.
Even though, in some ways, it feels good
to have some people think I'm that kind of powerful, I can't really claim credit
for what's happening to Wikipedia. The whole world is beginning to realize that
Wikipedia is being run by the social equivalent of a pimply twelve year old.
Wikipedia is coming apart. What
I'm offering is a remedy for its victims. How? I'm telling people
how to sue Wikipedians in the Courts to stop them from victimizing others.
I've got the formula to beat them (and I'll tell what that is further into the
article) - and Mike Godwin doesn't want me to talk about it. He says:
"Thank you providing evidence of intent to engage in strategic litigation aimed
at shutting down Wikipedia."
Yup, he really said that. Let me
adjust that testosterone knob one more time.

What Obama's Health Care Reform is Missing...
November 12th, 2009 - A lot of very smart people I know think that the so-called
Swine Flu "pandemic" is a simple marketing ploy created by the foreign owned
pharmaceutical industry to sell, nearly useless, and untested, dangerous
vaccines to an unsuspecting US public. In fact, it looks as though about
50% of the people in North America think so.
I don't disagree with that - but I think there is more to
this. I think this "pandemic" campaign is a not-so-subtle threat to
President Barack Obama and the US Congress... I think that Big Pharma
organized this "pandemic" to give a clear message to the US government
about how much power they actually have and how they will use it if Obama and
the Congress try to rein in the pharmaceutical industry - which we all know, is
primarily, but not solely, responsible for the horrendous costs, and problems, of US health care.
In short, their message is simple:
"We, Big Pharma, own the US TV News Media. We tell
news broadcasters exactly what they are going to say about healthcare.
They play the footage that WE provide for them about healthcare issues, and
nothing else. If you try to rein in our industry we will destroy you using
this tool."
In short, we are not going to be able to fix the US
healthcare system until we take back control of our own Television news hours.

Truehope "Raids"
Health Canada...
November 3rd, 2009 - Yesterday, a
Canadian company
Truehope, the makers of EMPowerplus, the first supplement product in North
America to be protected against attack by a government agency by the Court
System, started their second round of assault against Health Canada.
Let's wish
them well...
In their
first round they slapped Health Canada around a Canadian Courtroom, getting the
Court to Order Health Canada to leave them alone. The Court ruled, simply,
that EMPowerplus, a supplement product that reverses Bi-Polar issues, did not
require approval from Health Canada, and that it was "a necessity" to the
people that used it. Health Canada employees had stopped entry of the
product into Canada (it is manufactured in the US) causing several people to
die, and many others to suffer, without it. No Health Canada employees,
however, were ever criminally indicted for those deaths.
Yup - they are
attacking Health Canada one more time - and if they win this assault they will
have completely removed Health Canada's teeth, so to speak. Health Canada
might as well, after this, lock the doors and send the employees home.

I've
always said that
Stephen Barrett, as a man, just wasn't much. Recently
he proved my point - in spades. How?
On November
3rd, of the year 2000, this rancid old fart, and a couple of his equally
stunted cronies, filed a lawsuit against me, and others, sort of claiming
that I,
Tim Bolen, had been hired by world acclaimed author, and
health humanitarian,
Hulda Regehr Clark PhD to defame him, and that others
conspired to help me.
Don't laugh
too long. They actually wrote this nonsense down.
The trouble
is that, of course,
Stephen Barrett, et al, had no case
against any of us, so they NEVER tried to bring it into the Courtroom, offering, as
it were ,just about every lame excuse they could find to delay, delay,
delay. All the while, of course, Barrett claimed on his quackwatch website,
and Polevoy on his healthwatcher site, that they were, in fact, suing me,
blah, blah, blah.
What I found
amusing, right from the start, was when we demanded of Barrett and Grell
that they produce documents where any of the Defendants actually made
statements in the accusation reflected below - they could not provide any.
None.
So, after
eight years and four months, on March 23, 2009, the latest Judge in the case,
Stephen Dombrink, Judge of the Superior Court, Alameda County, ordered the
case Dismissed.

Court Demands Quackbusters Pay $491k - Two Pay,
One Doesn't ...
February 20th, 2008 - Way back in the year 2001, when Quackbusters
Stephen Barrett, Terry Polevoy, and their attorney Christopher Grell decided to
file their cockamamie lawsuit (Barrett v. Clark) in Oakland, CA Superior Court,
they brandished it on the internet as their crowning activity. Little did
they know, then, that it would NOT be just one more stumbling, bumbling,
fumbling, act, typical of their machinations.
In fact, this lawsuit would lead them to
laughable internet infamy, drawing the wrath of virtually every internet giant,
worldwide, in opposition to their goals. Nor did they deduce, then, that
filing a false claim in California, called a SLAPP suit, would gain them the
wrath of the California legislature. But it did.
Now, of course, after almost seven years of
litigation, they do know, and they found out the hard way. Now, of course,
as anyone knows, the piper needs to be paid, and the bill has been presented in
the form of a decision by the Oakland Superior Court ordering the threesome to
pay $434,000 US more than the $55,700 already collected, to just one of the
original Defendants, Ilena Rosenthal, and her attorneys.

Polevoy alone, and $169,404.25 from Barret and Polevoy - within thirty days. Barrett runs the questionable website "quackwatch.com."

practicing pediatrician for over 20 years. I saw my first child with autism in

Votes to Kill the Health Insurance Industry....
November 26th, 2006 - There is a war
on in the United States over health care. On one side is the "status
quo" represented by the medical monopoly, the pharmaceutical industry, the
health insurance carriers, and an entrenched bureauracracy wholly beholden to,
and run by, the people they are supposed to regulate.
The US system,
according to the World Health Organization, is rated 72nd in quality, but
number one in cost, worldwide. The "Death by Medicine" study
shows that the system itself is the number one killer of Americans. The
number two and three killers of Americans are heart disease and cancer,
diseases which those of us outside of the "status quo" know are
curable, and preventable - but those cures and preventive treatments are being
suppressed by agents of the "status quo."

know how the

Washington Dental School Under Assault for
"Mercury Poisoning"...

College of Dentistry hired Dental Hygienist
Laurie Pruett, over ten years ago, to
assist the school in its teaching of the
practice of Dentistry. What they
"forgot" to tell her, according to court
records, is that she would be handling
mercury amalgam fillings, and those mercury
fillings were toxic, giving of constant
noxious gases, which would, eventually,
result in consequential health problems.
Ten
years later, of course, Laurie Pruett began
to show the symptoms of mercury poisoning.
It wasn't long before those symptoms
affected her work, and her daily routine.
When Pruett sought medical attention she was
amazed to find out what competent Medical
Doctors knew all along - that working in a
"mercury" environment was hazardous
to your health - and that adequate
safeguards needed to be in place - facts
that Pierce College of Dentistry
pooh-poohed, again and again, according to
court records.
Pruett,
loyal to her employer, went to her

jobs, or 11 percent of its work force, and will close or sell

first phase of a reorganization strategy meant save up to $4
billion by the end of the decade.

"defamed" him, have now been thoroughly examined
in a Court of Law - and Barrett's claims, within that Court
of Law, in his own home town of Allentown, Pennsylvania -
a Court of Barrett's own
choice, have been determined to have
no merit.

Doctor's
Data Shows Mercy to Stephen Barrett... I'm VERY
Disappointed...
July 30th, 2010 - I guess Doctor's Data
wants to use a kinder, gentler approach
then I do. They gave
Stephen Barrett
sixty
(60) days, instead of twenty-one
(21) to respond to the Federal lawsuit
they filed against him. The sixty
day period started on June 29th, 2010 so
Barrett's answer is not due until August
30th, 2010. I'll connect you to a
Court Document about this in a
minute.
Sigh...
And here I hoped
that, by then, the "Collection
Phase," against
Barrett, et al,
would be in full swing. I was
hoping to bid on his belongings. I
could have set up a website selling
"Barrett Souvenirs." Just think, you may
have been able to buy original Barrett
papers to use to line your cat box - or
some other equally appropriate use.
But, I guess all this
is going to take much longer.
What they, Doctor's
Data's legal team, did, was to send
Barrett
a letter, asking him to accept
legal service of the lawsuit by mail
instead of by process server. In
exchange they would allow him 60 days to
respond, instead of the mandatory 21
days after process. Barrett signed
the agreement thereby giving him
more time.
But, what is TERRIBLY
important, and what I want you to look
at carefully, is Barrett's printed name,
and his signature, on the agreement.
It is clear that he is shaking nearly
uncontrollably.

me a link to a blog calling itself
"Respectful Insolence," run by the
guy I thought was going to be Barrett's
replacement
"Orac the Nipple Ripper."
Ok, the guy doesn't
actually call himself
"Orac the Nipple Ripper." I
call him that. He calls himself just
plain "Orac." But since I found
out he is a breast cancer surgeon in
Detroit, well, you know, I tend to call
a spade a spade - and, a nipple ripper a
Nipple Ripper.
For the most part I avoid venturing into
quackpot discussions for I have a
similar reaction, I think, that a prison
guard would have after having to listen
in on a group of pedophile prisoners
talking.
But, this time, I ventured in, read the
material, then made a few selected
comments using a pseudonym, and I
struck pay dirt.
It seems our boy
"Orac the Nipple Ripper."
wrote a whiny
blog article called
"More
legal thuggery against a defender of
science-based medicine,"

so I had to go read the article, and the
comments from his kiss-up peanut
gallery.

who's been robbing all those banks
they're looking for - and give you the

I was kind of mad at Darryl Hickok, the
head of Doctor's Data laboratory a few
months ago, for not walking out and
legally punching sleazebag
Stephen Barrett,
and his minions,
in the face over their obvious intent to
destroy Doctor's Data, and hence, a
whole host of great US Doctors, with
their
activities.
For, as I constantly
point out to people, there is only one
way to deal with Barrett and his slimy
ilk - you have to, so to speak, slap
them, and whack them, and kick them, and
stomp them, yank their pants down and

But then Doctor's Data, on June 18th,
2010 came out with a forty-one page
Federal Lawsuit against Barrett, et al,

Why Stephen Barrett was Afraid to Go To Trial in the San Diego Federal Court...
June 17th, 2010 - I have received a lot of amusing
comments about the
"Barrett Settlement" stories I've been telling. Apparently there a a
lot of people out in the world who, you might say, have an interest in Stephen
Barrett's troubles. (Insert your own pointed comment here).
But, had I wrote the whole story, all at
once, about what actually happened, although amusing, it would have just been

So, here is part three of the
"Barrett Settlement" saga. Today we are going to deal with the witness
list Barrett submitted, claiming he was going to use them at trial.
Frankly, when I looked at the list when it first popped out of the Barrett pop
tart toaster I laughed out loud, and smacked my hands in glee, somewhat like a
happy child being told "we're heading for Disneyland again..."

Everybody knows that I am a
Crisis Management Consultant in the health care industry. I get called
into the cases where the quackbuster misinformation group is operating.
Not so long ago, I was hired to look at a situation in Austin, Texas where a
clinic was attacked by goofbag Stephen Barrett on several fronts - a Texas
Medical Board complaint was filed against the doctor (Jesus Caquias MD), all of
the health insurance companies stopped paying the clinic for their services, and
the FBI raided the clinic last July 2009, claiming in the warrant that they were
investigating the clinic for "Insurance Fraud," and "Health Fraud" violations.
But, fear not, for Barrett made
some serious mistakes, and if I have my way he'll get criminally indicted in
Texas for his actions. Keep reading.
The officially approved treatment, in the US, for Autistic children is to put
them in a State mental facility. There, on day one, they yank their pants
down to their ankles, bend them over a table, and jab a hypo full of mind
numbing drugs into their buttocks. Then they throw them into a ward, keep
them doped, where, most likely, they will die in a few years. And, if you
read the US Inspection Report on the
State of Texas Mental
Health Facilities I think you will
conclude, as did the Federal Investigators, that they'd be better off dying
sooner than later - for the facilities are a hell-hole of problems, including
rampant sexual abuse.
Why is this
"institutionalizing" of Autistic children the officially approved treatment?
Because according to "the system" Autistic children have been convicted.
Their crime? They have been officially declared, along with their parents,
as having defective genes.
What? Defective genes?
Yup. That's the argument. According to the powers that be there is
no proof of a relationship between Autism and environmental issues, like
vaccines. It is the people who are defective - middle class, and upper
middle class Americans, primarily Caucasians. More, according to "the
system," it is
the brighter people who have the defective genes.

- It just had to
happen sooner or later - the truth about the US Cancer Industry not working at
all, just had to come out - to the American public, in a very big way.
If you haven't
picked up, and read, Suzanne Somers's newest book, you don't have anything better to do
today, after you finish reading my newest newsletter, of course, than running
down to the store and picking up a copy. In fact, if you have a list of
people in mind you care about, then pick up more than one, and give those people
a copy. The book is about the real world, and, frankly, I think Suzanne
did a better job, much more, than she intended.
There is a
Foreword to the book by Julian Whitaker MD. Those of you who know Julian
will not be surprised that he tells it like it is, clearly and succinctly.
Then Suzanne
tells her story about how, about a year ago today, she had a health problem coming home on an airplane,
checked into an Emergency Room unable to breathe properly, and was given about a
gazillion dollars worth of what hospitals seriously label as cutting-edge testing.
She was then diagnosed by six separate doctors there with full-body cancer. They
recommended, of course, full-body chemotherapy and told her to get her affairs
in order immediately.
This all came as
a big surprise to Suzanne, of course, who prides herself on taking care of her
health. After the initial shock wore off common sense kicked in, as in
"wait a minute here, Cancer does not come on this quick." There is
something wrong with this situation.

- On November
3rd, of the year 2000, quackbusters
Stephen Barrett,
Terry Polevoy,
and Christopher Grell sued me, Tim Bolen, along with a whole host of people,
claiming that world famous author and health humanitarian
Hulda Regehr Clark PhD
had hired me, Tim Bolen, to defame them - and that several others had
conspired with Clark and myself to accomplish that. After 8 and 1/2
years of no action to prove the case the judge threw it out, Dismissing it
out of hand.

The
case wracked up huge legal bills for the Plaintiffs who also had to pay for the
attorney fees for one of the Defendants,
Ilena Rosenthal.
And, those bills came to over $500,000 US. And, they are not yet paid.
More,
Ilena's attorneys are getting very aggressive about the collection. As
well they should. Last month, in Ontario, Canada Ilena's attorneys won
a judgment against Plaintiff Terry Polevoy for $311,000 US plus three years
back interest - totaling over $350,000 US. They want payment, from
Polevoy, right this minute.
And Polevoy
is screeching like a cornered rat...
He is
blaming Grell and Barrett for his problems. He could be right - or not.

am a very loud critic of the US Health Care system. It sucks, and the
American public is suffering from it. There is, right now,
an ongoing dialogue in the US about how to resolve the healthcare crisis.
But, for many of us the fact exists that the points under national
discussion do not even come close to the reality of the problem, for, it is
obvious, the dialogue only seems to be between the different factors of the
very problem.
There is an
old adage "identifying the problem is half way to solution." At
the moment in the official US healthcare dialogue the real problems are not
being addressed - and, of course, because of that there is virtually no
movement towards solution.

Chronic Lyme Disease: Battle Requires Attack on Multiple Fronts
February 20th, 2008 - Most people
battling chronic Lyme disease think of the illness as an infection caused by a
bacterium known commonly as Borrelia Burgdorferi, generally transmitted via

The "Cal Streeter" Story...

31st, 2006 - I'm
about to tell you about one of the most important cases in US
healthcare, an assault, and a turning point - the prosecution of a
Northwestern Indiana cutting-edge Doctor of Osteopathy, Wilbert C. (Cal)
Streeter.
Although few have ever heard of the Streeter case, it, of itself, and of
its result, make it a landmark. The case began, roughly, in 1996, as

Massachusetts Dental Case...
February 23rd, 2006 -
The
"quackbuster" operation in
North America, run out of a New York
ad agency, took another broadside
last month in Massachusetts when the
Massachusetts Dental Board called,
not one, but two, "special
meetings," both to dismiss, with
prejudice, all seven charges against
cutting-edge Dentist David Satloff.
The attempt to use a State agency in
a "fake" prosecution to
eliminate "Holistic Dentistry,"
and/or "Biological Dentistry"
failed.
Charges had been brought against
Satloff by the National Council
Against Health Fraud (NCAHF)
president Robert S. Baratz who
claims to be a combination MD, DDS
and PhD. Baratz was, also, the only
person to testify against Satloff -
and he testified for nine full
days. I estimate Baratz was paid
$125,000 for his testimony by the
State of Massachusetts. Baratz
testified in an earlier hearing that
he has never, actually practiced
Dentistry. He also claimed to be a
"spokesperson" for the
American Dental Association, and a
consultant to the US FDA.

that he was ruling in favor of a Motion made by Defendant

always been a leader in health care reform, officially and

California Supreme Court Bitch-Slaps
Stephen Barrett Once Again...
July 25th, 2010 - I find it
surprisingly easy to defeat Barrett and
his minions. It's almost like they
lead themselves into the slaughterhouse.
And there I stand with an axe...
On July 14th, 2010, a
little over a week ago, the California
Supreme Court, with virtually no effort
on my part, stomped a rancid old fart
named Stephen Barrett on my behalf, by
the simple act of denying Barrett's
Petition to that Court, practically
begging the Supreme Court to overturn
the earlier Appeals Court Decision
upholding the Alameda Superior Court's
decision to Dismiss Barrett's case
against me.
The Judge in the
Superior Court, once again with no
effort on my part, had Dismissed the
case since, frankly, Barrett, et al,
just couldn't seem to get it up enough
to pursue the original silliness.
We, on the other hand, spent no effort
either.
It has always been my
opinion that Stephen Barrett has always
wanted to TELL people he is suing me,
but actually facing me in Court, or
anywhere else, is a whole another
matter. I think it has been a
manhood issue with him all along. MORE

Has Four Days Left - Then He Goes to
Default...
July 8th, 2010 - I just
checked my "Pacer" (Federal Court
information system) file, and Barrett
has not yet brought in a lawyer, and
filed a response to the Doctor's Data
lawsuit against him. Could it be this
easy? Could it be that rancid old
Stephen Barrett, when push comes to
shove, just could not back up his public
statements in a Court of law, and is
just going to let the collection agents
pick him clean? Could it be that
Doctor's Data will have unlimited access
to Barrett's years records showing whom
he plotted with?
(I'm really getting all excited thinking
about this).
As I said in
my last article:
In the Federal Court System a defendant
is given 21 full days to properly
Respond to a lawsuit. Let's
assume, for the moment, that since
Stephen Barrett was sued by Doctor's
Data on June 18th, 2010, that he was
served with papers on the 19th, the next
day. Counting 21 days from that
moment brings us to Monday, July 12th,
2010 - the deadline for Barrett to hire
an attorney who can practice in Federal
Court in Chicago, Illinois, and prepare,
and submit a Response to the Court.
That's eight days from now - and Barrett
does not even have an attorney yet.
Well, he only has about four more
days... And, as I indicated:
What happens if Barrett does not
Respond?
If Barrett does not Respond then
Doctor's Data simply files for what is
called a "Default Judgment," asking the
Court to award everything they asked for
- the Five Million in Damages, the
Fifteen Million in Punitive Damages, and
a permanent Injunction barring Barrett
from talking about Doctor's Data, etc.
The Judge's answer is almost automatic..
So, why hasn't Barrett "lawyered up" and
answered?
Let's think about that. There are

who has no income of his own, he claims, had to go
to his wife Judith the other day, I think, and say

month. I'm getting sued in Fed Court in
Chicago now, and I'm going to need $250,000 this
month as a retainer, and another $100,000 per month
to pay for my Defense, for the next year, or so."
On Friday

Rip-Thrashed Once (Twice?) Again..
June 2nd, 2010 -
I fully expected a battle royal in a San Diego Federal
Courtroom this week with Stephen Barrett. Barrett had sued Hulda Clark and
Carlos Negrete, making some sort of claim or another (I find it hard to tell
what Barrett's lawsuits are actually claiming). I was a major witness
scheduled to testify against him and I'd been preparing for weeks going over
every piece of evidence I had ever gathered regarding Barrett's activities.
I fully expected to testify for a full day - maybe more. And, I had
a lot to say.
I even bought a new tie for the occasion.
But, this afternoon I found out that Barrett, today, came

Worse, Carlos won't even tell me the terms of the settlement. He says it

20th, 2009 - I've been wondering who would pick up
the reins of the
quackbuster
operation once
Stephen Barrett croaks, which could
be very soon. I think I found the
candidate. He's perfect for the job - has all of the right quali-fications,
and seems eager to fill the spot.
For years there
was a contest, among the quackpot faithful, to be crowned the heir apparent, and
many were groomed for the job. But, problems kept coming up, so there was
no obvious Crown Prince.
Everybody who
follows my newsletter could figure out that there were two major candidates
vying for the top spot - sometimes even trying to push Stevie off the bus a
little early. I am, of course, referring to
Bobbie Baratz, the current
president of the National Council Against Health Fraud and
Terry Polevoy,
Canada's low-budget Barrett copy.
Bobbie Baratz
was, for a time, head and shoulders above Polevoy in the race, for he had three
doctorate degrees (MD, DDS, and PhD) and he flaunted them in everyone's face,
offering himself, just like Barrett did, as a virtual expert in EVERYTHING.

I Love Being Hated by Quackbusters...

doctor James Carter MD, PhD, author of the famous book "Racketeering in
Medicine," the blatant 1994 expose of the plot to destroy innovation in
US health care, called me up one day, several years back, and asked me if I was coming to a certain
health convention where he was going to be.
He had me
worried for a minute, for I thought that he might be angry at me for I had
recently removed him as the "most hated person in
quackbuster land," and
inserted myself into that position. After all, there is honor, in certain
important circles, in being on Stephen Barrett's website. The thinking is
that the more space you get on Barrett's sleazy pages the more good you must be
doing for humanity. Barrett was giving me lots of space - more than anyone
had ever gotten. I was worried that Jim Carter might be upset with me for
pushing him into second position.
But he wasn't.
He wanted me to come and speak to a large group of cutting-edge doctors and he
wanted to introduce me personally. Barrett has no idea, to this day, how
much of an honor he had bestowed on me. I spent a weekend with a group of
people who lead the nation, if not the world, in innovative health care
thinking. It was, to say the least, stimulating.

The longest
running war conducted by the United States is not the war in Iraq, nor the
war in .Afghanistan. It is the "War on Cancer" started, with great
fanfare, in 1972, thirty-seven years ago, by President Richard Nixon. It is
a complete failure. The enemy, cancer, continues to gain ground.
In truth,
the only people who benefit from this war are those in the huge, for profit,
cancer industry - certainly not cancer victims or their families. The accepted therapies,
those claimed to be "proven," are, in actuality, worthless. The
statistics generated, even though the industry massages them, clearly show
that 97.9% people who go the chemotherapy therapy route are dead five years
later. That's correct - chemotherapy only has a 2.1% success rate over
five years. Put in a 2.5% "margin of error" and you've got a big fat
zero.
More, the
government apparatus we've created to help with this war is no more than a
huge "welfare for scientists" program with absolutely nothing to show for
their thirty-seven years of existence except higher percentages of cancer
deaths.

19th, 2009 the American
Association of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) filed suit in a New York State
Supreme Court against the Wikimedia Foundation, Inc., (solely as a nominal
Defendant) and John or Jane Does 1-10.
This is a
very important case to anyone involved in health care anywhere in the
world.. Why? Because Wikipedia articles about health care have
turned Wikipedia into a
propaganda machine -
with the full knowledge, and cooperation, of the management of both the
Wikipedia Project, and the Wikimedia Foundation. In short, I believe
that Wikipedia is a fraud.

appears to have fled the State of Pennsylvania for North Carolina, just ahead
of the official laughter laid on him by the the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
The Pennsylvania High Court
joins the California Supreme Court in its disdain for Barrett's legal
opinions. Barrett, who among other things, claims to be a "legal
expert," has now been officially, and very soundly, had his pants pulled down,
and his butt paddled TWICE by America's highest courts.

- The tipping point against mercury fillings, my
friends, has arrived. A dentist magazine surveyed its dentist readers, and
finds that 52% of American dentists now are mercury-free.
Wow.
This new dentist majority brings colossal ramifications upon America ’s
protectors of mercury fillings -- the American Dental Association and the
Food and Drug Administration.
I
wrote the head of the ADA to inform him that the ADA has missed the boat by
not exiting the mercury fillings business last year. (I even went to
Chicago in December to
hand them a graceful exit plan.) Choosing instead to stay mired in the 19th
century, ADA ’s pro-mercury members are likely to be picked off via lawsuits,
one-by-ones. The ADA , I advised Dr. Bramson, will morph into a numerical
shadow of itself, as its members wake up to the fact that this rallying around
mercury has been a sham;
With
this new evidence, if the ADA refuses to warn its dwindling band of
pro-mercury dentists to abandon mercury, the ADA likewise will be sitting in

In the first article in this series on autism, a mercurial finger was pointed at
the high level of mercury children received from their vaccines and the huge
upswing in the autism rate. It was noted that the background level of mercury
pollution from coal-fire power plants and other sources (such as dental
amalgam) was so high that one in every six women in the US has a level of
mercury in her body high enough to affect her children’s health. The cost to
society of these affected children amounts to billions of dollars annually,
and the ultimate cost of caring for all those disabled will cost trillions.
Lastly, the point was made that this isn’t so much about autism as it is about
the future of human life on this planet if we don’t stop mercury pollution.
Concerning the issue of autism, the press has failed to present
both sides in the heated debate over a possible link between vaccines and this
devastating disorder. The last word is often given to the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention, without any mention of the vast web of conflict of
interest ties between CDC employees and the pharmaceutical industry. MORE

Time for the Hercules Solution...
April 18th, 2007 - In Greek mythology,
Aegeas, the king of Elis, had a vast herd of cattle. The stables in
which they were kept hadn't been cleaned in 30 years. By then it was
impossible to clean them and the resulting stench was unbearable.
Hercules, who had been assigned 12 stupendous tasks ("the Labours of
Hercules") to be performed in atonement for a crime he had supposedly
committed, came on the scene. One of those tasks was to clean the Aegean
stables. Hercules did the job in one day by diverting a river to flow thorough
the King’s stables.
The phrase "clean the
Aegean stables" now means to clear away an accumulated mass of corruption
– physical, moral, ethical, legal...
The stench at the US Food
& Drug Administration (FDA) is unbearable. The FDA, designed to regulate
certain industries in the US, has been taken over, in its entirety, by those
industries, who operate the agency for their own benefit. There is no
argument against this statement. At FDA the tail is wagging
the dog. Americans are being regulated by industries. It's the way
it is.

The case is simple. Citizens are suing the FDA for
NOT, during the last THIRTY YEARS, ruling on the safety, or danger, of mercury
amalgam tooth fillings.

Alameda, California Trial Court in the Barrett v. Clark
(Rosenthal) case asking for a Temporary Restraining
Order preventing Defendant Rosenthal from collecting
attorney fees awarded to Rosenthal by the Courts. The
Court denied the Motion, and "collection" has
begun in earnest.

Ten US Senators say:
"We want to fix health care NOW..."
February 15th, 2007 - Ten US
Senators, two days ago, wrote a bi-partisan letter to President George W. Bush
saying:
"Each of us believes our
current health system needs to be fixed now. Further delay is unacceptable as
costs continue to skyrocket, our population ages, and chronic illness
increases. In addition, our businesses are at a severe disadvantage when their
competitors in the global market get health care for “free.”"
I'm going to say this once again - Nobody even tries to hide the fact that
the US Health Care System is broken
beyond repair. There is a lot of finger-pointing going
on, as well there should be.
The US health care system costs too much, it's the top three killers of
Americans, and Americans don't trust it. It
simply doesn't work.
Who's fault is
this? Blame lies
solidly with the management of the US Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS).
Current management is incapable of dealing with health care problems. It
has set up a US Health Care system that doesn't work, and has no chance of
ever working.

Anger in Indiana - The "Cal Streeter" Story

"Cal Streeter Story" is ripping health care regulation apart
in Indiana - and it needs to be ripped apart. A few months ago, for
instance, an Indiana Court ordered the State Medical Board, using VERY
STRONG language, to restore Streeter's license to practice medicine
IMMEDIATELY. The Board, clearly defying the Indiana Court, waited a
full ninety days (90) to restore the license, then filed an Appeal with

AETNA Loses Major Dental Case
in Fed Court - Is This Their Demise?...

Late Friday, January 27th, 2006, 10th District
Federal Court Judge Marcia Krieger handed
struggling Aetna Insurance, perhaps the biggest
legal loss in Aetna's history. And, it was over
a dental issue. The reverberations will be felt
worldwide. This case may be one of the two
straws to break this company's back. I'll tell
you about the second straw further into this
article.
About
3:00PM, Central Standard time, in Denver,
Colorado, Aetna attorneys and top management no
doubt went into cardiac arrest when a decision
in the
"Cavitat v. Aetna"
Federal case was announced by the Judge,
especially since the decision came only one week
after Aetna had arrogantly crowed its legal
position to its customer base in Business Week
Magazine. It is not known whether Business Week
plans to retract its story and apologize to
those it named.

and got permission to advertise drugs, drugs, and more drugs
directly to the American consumer. Their intent, as it became
obvious, was two things: (1) sell more drugs to the American

news, it appears, got the lion's share of advertising dollars.
I estimate that 55% percent of all advertising during the News
Hours are paid for by "Big Pharma." More, about a third
of the entire newscast, itself, is focused on how wonderful your
"local drug peddler" actually is.

Administration (FDA) was originally designed to serve the needs of
the American public.
Of course, these
days, it does no such thing - it is owned, outright, by "Big
Pharma," the very industry it is supposed to regulate.
Not just is there
a revolving door of pharma employees with the FDA, but every
committee is in the hands of the drug pushers. In fact, the FDA is
little more than a gun carrying enforcement agency whose only
purpose seems to be to stifle, raid, imprison, shut down, harass,
torture, lie about, and generally discourage competition to drugs,
drugs, and more drugs.
They don't even
try to hide it.

for a public relations coup to help promote its

profession. He even made up a new website

something like that, to criticize the profession. He began to
talk as though he knew something about it - drawing, I guess, on
his life experiences as a part-time MD in an Allentown,
Pennsylvania mental hospital.
Barrett,
particularly took an interest in one
Tedd Koren DC, a well known Chiropractic advocate, author,
Publisher, and seminar leader. Barrett, of course, did the usual
"sliming" of
Koren on his dubious website
"quackwatch.com."

October 20, 2005 - On October 13,
2005, notorious self-proclaimed consumer medical advocate,
Stephen Barrett’s defamation lawsuit against Dr. Tedd Koren was
thrown out of court after a grueling three and a half day
trial. To the unknowing observer, this may seem insignificant,
but in no uncertain terms, it was a big victory for the battle
of freedom and rights of all individuals to select the health
care of their choice.
The American
Medical Association has a long standing history of trying to
monopolize health care in the United States by eliminating
competition. In Wilk v. AMA a Federal court ruled that
the AMA and other individuals and organizations had conspired to
contain and eliminate the practice of chiropractic. The court
found that the AMA and it’s officials instituted a boycott of
chiropractors and made it unethical for a medical doctor to
associate with chiropractors.
